Was there a POC or Sales Engineering Project?

  • Yes – Mitch Price has data he can provide.

Phases discussed during Pre-Sale

  • I would highly recommend you define the phases with Shenandoah to get them to agree on the roll-out plan and not let them go off in a corner and try to do too much as once because they have a habit of doing that.
  • Phase 1 - Operational Roll-out.  Load fixed routes into DRTrack and start applying orders against those routes.     Daily routing will be managed at the location level
  • Phase 2 – Probably makes sense to roll-out DRTrack with integration to Fleetmatics first while we fine tune the forms, etc they will use with D2Link.
  • Phase 3 – D2Link and Strategic Planning (training them how to optimize their fixed routes)
  • Phase 4+ – they have looked at TMT for fleet maintenance as well.  Just an FYI as they may bring this up.  They also have interest in integrating their payroll system (Paylocity).

Notes from Implementation

First person from Appian assigned to Shenandoah Growers was Skylar. Things went bad and Peel asked for Jackson to take over the project.

Officially two super users were trained. First one was, Darrel Miller, was turned from start to finished, everything Direct Route, DRTrack and D2link. Then Darrel was moved back to run his old department.

After Darrel went back to run his old department, Daniel Bazan joined Shenandoah Growers several months later.

Darrel has been trained from start to finish, everything on Direct Route, DRTrack, and D2link.

Shenandoah Growers continues to fix and update their master routes. Some of them were created with route violations or routes taken weeks to complete.

Have been having issues with D2Link devices not tracking routes. Went over troubleshooting D2link with Daniel.

Shenandoah Growers will be rolling out future branches.
